Neutrino
The crystalline yet vulnerable beauty of a soap bubble conveyed on a cinema screen or a photograph that breaks down at the height of its expression is the product of this machine of illusions created by Feco Hamburguer. Its evanescent projections that emerge crystal clear and gradually turn cloudy before the final explosion speak to us of our passion for images, while describing our inability to retain a more accurate memory of the past. Here, memory and imagination emerge at the same time.
All aboard the “Neutrino”, the scientific term for perhaps the most ethereal elementary particle, which has the capacity to cross bodies without altering them; according to the artist ‘the spectator is both the passenger and driver of the experiment.’
